SOL-Anti Crush System for Scissor & Boom Lifts

PROTECTION

The overhead obstruction detection system is an advanced safety feature designed to protect operators from potential hazards above the platform. An adjustable detection sensor is positioned above the operator, continuously monitoring for obstructions. Unlike fixed systems, the detection height can be changed as needed, and all measurements are referenced directly from the sensor.

When a ceiling is detected at or within the configured height threshold measured from the sensor, the system triggers an audible alarm and the machine can be stopped.

To accommodate special operating conditions, the system is equipped with an override switch. This feature allows operators to intentionally manoeuvre closer to overhead structures when required, while still maintaining a high level of control and situational awareness. By combining adjustability, automatic safeguards, and operator override capability, the system ensures both safety and flexibility in a variety of working environments.
